Animated Bunni avatars

Let's spread the love for our favorite game. :)

I've made a couple of animated avatars for people to use on other forums. Have fun using them, and when people ask what game is that, just point them here - then let the game speak for itself. :D

The first one is a 100x100 px animated angel bunni; the second one is the same thing without frames (84x84 px).

Heh... I couldn't take a custom request even from myself! :D I didn't even know what this one will look like when I started out, only that it will be an avatar with some animation in it.

But hey, it doesn't hurt to ask. Just write what you have in mind, and maybe someone will feel inspired by it. ;)

Heh... I couldn't take a custom request even from myself! :D I didn't even know what this one will look like when I started out, only that it will be an avatar with some animation in it.

But hey, it doesn't hurt to ask. Just write what you have in mind, and maybe someone will feel inspired by it. ;)

With time, so long as you make a consistent and heavy effort at doing so, that will change and you will become very good at drawing. I was like that once.

Heh... as they say in Madagascar 2, "Grit, spit, and a whole lotta duct tape." :D

No, really, the actual animation is not my work; it's from the game. I just used a screencap app to record it, and then sent the recording back-and-forth between Fireworks and Flash for cleanup and to create and add the miscellaneous bits you see there.

this is the best I could get the colors.

This is done from screens and editing all in Flash CS4.

I don't know what the flash of grey is. it happens when exporting.

I've made a new animated avatar: monster token! :D

It's basically a rotating 3D token model with our favorite monster peering from the center. The two versions (80x80 px and 100x100 px) accommodate most forums.

Done with Fireworks + Flash + Illustrator.


also, how do you make a picture for forum? i have no idea where to put one in
In the upper left corner of the screen, click on User CP. Then find the Edit Avatar link in the left menubar, click on it, and you're good to go! :) One caveat though; this forum does not allow animated avatars. Use these on other forums.

Strangely enough, the rotating token I posted yesterday started out as a ghostbuster-like logo with a monster. It didn't work, so I did stuff randomly until I was happy with the result. :)

For you curious and persistent folks who have got all the way to page four of this thread, I present an animated avatar featuring Pirate Peach in all her dancing sexiness. :p

As you can see, I changed her clothes color and surroundings to fit the theme better. The avatar comes in three sizes this time: 80x80, 100x100 and 150x150.

This avatar could make people love or hate Bunni at first sight - so make sure you show it off to the right people! :D
