Bunni and real money?

After reading Daniel's "Lost Garden" blog about Bunni and his interesting article about monetizing Flash games (http://lostgarden.com/2009/07/flash-love-letter-2009-part-1.html) in general, I wonder: what's the future of Bunni in terms of paid content?

Will players have an option to buy gems with real money online? (I think I spotted a "buy gems" button on an earlier screenshot). What other premium content will Bunni feature? Rare items? Exclusive creatures? Unique abilities? Gifts?

Will any of Bunni's content be pay-locked in the future? Like, islands that can be visited only by "VIP members"?

Last but not least, will any of this affect the accounts created during this beta-testing period? Like, resetting gems and other resources, removing special creatures or even resetting the whole database...

It'd be nice if you guys and gal (Rose, Andre, Daniel) could share an insight into these plans with your curious fans. :)

While we might changes our monetary planning, here is what we was planned to do:
1. A lot of items and some limited contents will need gems to access, this gems act as our premium coins.
2. There are several ways to get gems and/or premium items:
- Inviting your friends to play the game.
- Buying them via credit card / paypal.
- Completing offerpal (which some doesn't need you to purchase).
- Grinding (shake trees, but they won't give as much as now).

Not sure about reset but probably we will do.

I don't think this will happen now.

Unless the team were to come out with a tribalwar version of Bunni like DragonBunni has suggested before, where it would be muiltlpayer and the game would be bigger.
Then there would be more people.

Not really. At the moment I'm sure some of you don't mind spare a dollar or two for several new decoration objects.
We also have some secret under our sleves.

Rosedragon covered the basics. The hope is that when we move out of beta, we'll let people buy gems and have more items available for gems. That way, we can keep Bunni growing and expanding. :-)

What I'd love to hear from you is: What you'd like to see available as paid stuff in the game?

Problem with the offer things is that most of them infect your computer with viruses.

more islands with more variety, like a snowy one, or one with a beach.

but what i would really pay for is a game like Travian, just bunni style, (normally free, but extra stuff costs) couse there is almost no reason to buy decoration or something if the game really ends there.

And nothing boring like 'super legendardy sawmill' wich doesn't really make the game funnier.
