You need to buy fox from the fox house that you buy from the bronze shop.

you have to the fox working before the ghost ask's you to use 5 foxes and i have not found any bugs

^ just because it didnt bug for you doesn't mean it doesn't bug for other people. I also had this same problem for my first fox, but the second fox I got allowed me to gain the mote.
