I just ate a whole teaspoon of raw salt. But in my godly form I used to eat entire oceans' worth of salt.

I like salt too...

Can never get too much.

Oooh... you have to drink water though. If you don't you will form kidney stones.
And I'm a DUDE!
X_X

Yeah um... I don't like ionized salt though. It tastes bad and if you consume too much of it, it makes you feel ill. REAL salt though, doesn't do that to you.

I like solar salt. JUST MAKE SURE IT'S SOLAR SALT and not a treated "pellet." lol

jillie

Iron gives kidney stones, not salt...I think. There is trace amounts of iron in sea salt though, depending on what region it's from. I like black Hawaiian salt, oooh and the expensive pink salt.

lol
That's the only way that they will have any sort of flavor.

Not true! I mix cheese and pepper, not just salt, into it when I make scrambled eggs. Cheesy scrambled eggs is the best.

Cthulhu

You're not supposed to put salt on scrambled eggs when you cook them, it makes them too tough and hard. I put plenty of black pepper, garlic, cumin, cayene powder and sometimes sage, as well as plenty of cheese. and souls

Doesn't happen to me Cthulhu =O Scrambled eggs is about the only really awesome thing I can cook and I do put a bit of salt in and they don't go firm at all. So ya ^_^ each to their own I suppose

Cthulhu
11-12-2009, 02:31 AM
I can cook anything. For thanksgiving I'm probably going to cook some tasty potato curry or something and some pie, the rest of my family is making some random stuff.

Riida

Salt is a funny thing. Where I live, people put salt on a cup of strawberries... to make 'em sweeter. Go figure. :)

You know salt and oil with vanilla icecream is supposed to be really good. I suppose thats why potato chips go so well dipped in vanilla icecream, pretty much just salt and oil right there LOL.

SiamJai
11-12-2009, 04:54 AM
Hmm, never tried but it doesn't sound too bad.

Will remember next time I have chips and icecream at home. ;)

You know, once when I traveled to the northeast, I had salted silkworm cocoons. They taste like walnuts (not kidding).

MonsterMiner
11-12-2009, 04:55 AM

jillie
11-12-2009, 06:41 AM

Cthulhu
11-12-2009, 04:05 PM
Eh, I don't really like watermelons...

Put some salt on your hot chocolate the next time it's cold, it make it tons richer.

Riida
11-12-2009, 10:30 PM
Why are you experimenting with salt and sweet food? D:

Cthulhu
11-12-2009, 11:26 PM
Most of these things aren't experiments, they're chef tricks that are just lesser known among normal people popples.
