Bunni Island Wars! Jersun

Jersun: A large woodland island, on the shores trees cover most of the beaches, only two bays exist, one on the north side and one on the west. This is the easternmost island. The land is bountiful in plum trees and has beautiful ironwood trees, unfortunately it lacks in mines. The wood of these trees is said to be as strong as iron itself, while being able to float on water this wood is great for ships.


Jersun: Has two bays, one on the north and south east northern named Remni Bay, south east named Fiddlebite bay thanks to the sharp toothed fish in there.
Lots of forests, no mines. Large island. (Forest Island, mixed in with tropical on the beaches)

When he first touched land, it was amazing; a tropical jungle, so majestic, he even wondered if he should leave to preserve the peace. But he couldn't, for he didn't have any food left, and was getting hungry. He took a ripe plum from a tree, and gorged his teeth in it. The juices ran down his mouth, it was so delicous; and as he looked upon the other trees, they looked strong and hearty. This was a builder's land. He florished and ran around the island from joy.

Jenxas quickly got to work. He started chopping trees down, for he had an idea for a wonderful house.

[Day 1; Crashed]

I seemed to have floated along to this island with most of the shipwreck. I was knocked out but I recovered without sustaining injuries which is a good thing. Also, my rapier was still with me.

I looked around the shipwreck to see if I could find any survivors, whether it be those bastards or one of my own, but I only saw corpses. A good deal of them were blown to bits, which probably wasn't the most pleasent way to die. I felt guilty, especially when I had seen Luerie, who only had half his face remaining, many of my crew had died because of me, and while I survived, none of them did.

A proper burial was needed for the dead, but I couldn't so I just left the corpses alone to find some supplies. Most of the items were very nicely ruined, thanks to the seawater and the blast, so I couldn't find much. The only useful things I found were a couple of iron axes, a hammer, along with some kitchen utensils and this journal. Still, they're bound to be of some use, and I didn't search the entire wreck today so I should be able to scavenge more in time.

As for me writing this log, why am I doing it? Well, it's mostly because I feel like I need to record the things I did onto here. I don't know why, but when I saw this notebook intact, I just had the urge to. I'm going to make a habit of writing in here for the days to come.

Anyways, after I had stopped scavenging, I saw that the sun was already about to set and that I didn't have any food at all. I had to find sources of food and water, and fast. I tasked myself to go into the jungle for some food and to explore as well as to find shelter. The jungle was hard to navigate through as there were many trees and low lying shrubs so I couldn't do much, but I do believe that I had gotten to the edge of it before I came back. The jungle seems to converge into a forest and only exists within sight of the beach, it seems. As for the food, I saw a few plums on the branches of trees and tried them. I didn't really like plums, but they tasted fine enough and I lacked food so I brought a few armfuls of them to the beach. I don't have water, but the plum should have enough juice to make up for it.

When I finally finished exploring and all, the sun had already set and it was damn dark, though it wasn't too cold. I brought my plums and I laid at the base of a tree, since I didn't have any shelter. As the night came, I really wish I had a campfire, but I didn't have any source of fire with me, not even a single piece of flint. It kind of made me wish that Cristel was here. Quite stupid isn't it?

About Cristel.. I'm wondering what happened to her. From what I knew, my fleet had split up quite a bit after that damn maelstrom that most likely ate most of the ships. I wish I had Cristel with me on my boat, but I'm not too worried. She's probably already dead, lying at the bottom the sea. Hopefully that would be the case but if she isn't.. I'll personally go to the ends of the world to kill her, and all of her kind.

As for now, I'm just sitting here, writing in the moonlight which grants me enough vision to write. What will happen, I really don't know, but I will survive this place. No- I must survive, for all the hopes of the people that believe in me and to end the world of this madness.

Jenxas went into the forest to collect more wood. He had finished his prototype, but it still needed work.

As Jenxas thought he was fully done, he had bigger plans, to make profit.

Sticko had finished a ship, but it was much better then the last one; It was bigger, was holding wares of all sorts, you could control where it was going, and it only needed one man, even tohugh he would be doing many things with his hands. He then raised the sails with a white flag; he was going to help others. and by trade.

[Day 2: Survival]

I woke up early this morning, although a bit later than my usual time. Well, this is based upon the position of the sun, so it might be earlier or later than I think. Anyways, I woke up to find myself on this island again. When I saw the wreckage and the trees, I felt depressed but I forced myself up- the dead were dead, but the living had to move on.

I first started my day by washing my face and scavenging again. This time, I had the sense to take my clothes off before doing so, since when I did it with them on yesterday, it was quite uncormfortable. There was the issue of someone seeing me, but the island is probably deserted so it should've been okay.

Today wasn't very successful either. With most of the food and clothing gone, most of the usable objects were metal weapons or wet powder. Since I already had my rapier, they were useless, though I did take an axe and a broadsword with me just in case. But the most important thing was a large usable 12-pounder cannon and a single crate of dry powder. I wasn't going to need it for any battles soon, but it could work as a good signal when ships are nearby. After around two hours of searching, I deemed that the scavenging had no further point.

Then I ate some plums for breakfast, as there was nothing else to eat. Then I began to think about my shelter. Some kind of house was needed to be built, but it would take a long time, and I didn't have proper planks to work with nor did I have a saw. I did think of the planks from the shipwreck but when I went, they were in the seawater for too long, they were already starting to rot.

Thinking about shelter, I wondered wheter I should venture further into the forest or stay on the beach. If this island is actually inhabited by people, it would be worth it for me to go find them but if there aren't, it would be a waste of time. I thought about it but I decided against it. There were plum trees in my area and I couldn't have any hope of being rescued by boat if I went further inland. Besides, the cannon and the tools may prove useful to me yet so I didn't want to leave them.

Then I simply gathered more plums and ate them throughout the day, being on the lookout for nearby boats, but I didn't find any. As sunset came, I then wished for a campfire and thought of Cristel again, but I immediately dismissed it from my mind.

But after I kept thinking, I then tried to force myself to try the stick on the log thing that others said would create a fire. It didn't work but after around 3 hours into the night, I finally made it. It wasn't almost worth the effort. Almost- the fire still warmed my heart as it did my body.

[Day 3]

Morgant woke up again, and saw that the fire was still burning. It was great that it was, but he wouldn't have need of it until the night again. He wished that it would last through the day but it probably wouldn't. A pity it won't.

After washing his face in the seawater again, Morgant felt that the ocean wasn't doing any good. Even when he just took a facial wash, it stung more than it made him feel refreshed. Although he had decided that venturing into the forest was simply a waste of energy the previous day, he felt an urge to go and find some sort of stream of something. If he did, he could at least quench his thirst without having to eat plum all the time, which wasn't very pleasent- he didn't like plums.

Speaking of plums.. Better eat breakfirst first, he thought and sighed. Still he went to the shade of the nearby tree and ate the plums. He hated it every time he hate to plunge his teeth into one. He spent eating for around ten minutes or so and went off to explore the forest.

The jungle, came before the forest and was one heck of a hard thing to navigate through. It was much more filled with plantlife than forests and was much more annoying. Perhaps it was because of that, but Morgant couldn't seem to find a source of fresh water.

After a while, he gave up searching and returned to the beach. But there was something strange at the beach- a strange cat in uniform. And the uniform wasn't one of the Ardoun military, he was sure of it. Is it a Ceri soldier? Morgant thought.

But as he was thinking, the cat suddenly turned around and charged towards him. Taken by surprise, Morgant tried his best to defend the attack but it was hard. The man was at least at the rank of a swordmaster at least; maybe even a great master. Still that didn't matter. All he knew was that he was suddenly fighting for his life- that was until the cats rapier struck him.

My stomach, Morgant reazlied and grunted. If the cat intended to kill him, it would be over swiftly but if he didn't, then he would have the pleasure of his stomach acids slowly eating away his body as he died. But whatever came next didn't matter- his vision faded away anyways, and into the darkness he fell.

"Hmm, he's our cook Bart, you didn't see him back on the island?" Salden asked, walking down the plank.

[sweet_love]

"Nah, I was thinking in the cabins too much."

((Where did we land, northern beach or southern beach?))

[Lovelight]

Salden yawned, sitting on the beach he laid back a bit, "I'm going to take a break, you guys take note of the surroundings." He was sleepy since he kept waking up from his dreams last night.

((Oh, sweet, did you read his dreams before they left Befin? It included your character's father.))

((I think northern side, because the southern side's kind of filled with shipwreck so you couldn't have gotten in.))

((Ah,nvm.))

"You already took a break Salden. It's better if you explore the island too. "

"Oh come on, the man could be tired," Cristel defended Salden, "Anyways, are we to travel in groups or can I explore the area on my own? I should be faster by myself, I believe."

It was true, but it wasn't the speed that was the problem, there was still the possibility of Morgant on this island. She didn't care about the man Jenxas but Morgant was still a threat. And she didn't want to alert any of them of his presence, he was a target she needed to kill personally, and quietly.

[Lovelight]

"I see. ANYWAY.." Lovelight said collecting some leaves.

[sweet_love]

*Morgant*

"Where the hell..," Morgant thought as he slowly woke up. He then jerked his head as he realized that he wasn't on the beach, but instead, tied on a chair, guarded by several cats.

Ceri soldiers, he realized as he recognized their uniform. He was then a captive, or a prisoner of some kind. He tried to recollect his memory from the last time he was awake, but it was too blurry. But why was it blurry? What had happened?

As he was trying to remember, another cat stepped into the room, and he seemed to be the leader of the group. He then smirked at Morgant and broke the silence, which surprised Morgant who was deep in thought, "Well there, it seems you've woken up."

He looked at the cat's face then he remembered fighting a small duel the previous day. Why or how, he didn't know. But that man must have knocked him out somehow.

"Stop staring at me like that, it's awkward. I know I'm quite beautiful and all but you should know not to stare at a lady like that you know," the cat spoke, amused.

Wait, that's a woman? Morgant asked himself, surprised. Still it didn't matter. She was an enemy, she was the leader of this group. That was all that was important.

The cat was about to speak again when another cat appeared from the stairs. He, or she- he didn't care, whispered in the woman's ear and ran back up the stairs. After that the woman walked away, saying, "I'm sorry dear, but it seems that I have buisness to attend to. Bye! Oh and by the way, don't even try to escape, my guards will gut you in an instant. But just in case.. Oy, Saleh, knock him out."

The one that was beside him then raised his hammer and swung it at him. Morgant tried to evade it, but it was neigh impossible when he was tied to a chair. The first blow came, hard, and it was painful but he still kept concious.

"You bastard..," Morgant muttered under his breath as the other cat swung his weapon again and this time, Morgant didn't reply.

Salden was already asleep.

They were on the battlefield, again, this time Salden looked a lot more serious. They were being bombarded by the Raiden, at the top was Res the infamous marksman, that coward, he sits atop that hill and shoots down at us, not even getting close enough for us to be up to par with him. He say Res shoot an arrow, it wasn't at him, he yelled, all the archers shot arrows all at once, Salden ducked down behind a rock, unfortunately, when salden looked up, Kaine was pelted by arrows all over his body, the arrows managed to pelt his armor, Salden rushed over to him, "Kaine! You'll make it through this battle!"
There was a single area in his heart, "That Res is quite a shot. . . hes the only one who managed to his one of my vital spots. . . the only one to get through. . . my. . . armor. . ." He said, gasping and smiling, he was lost. Salden, enraged charged at the line of archers ruthelessly, ducking low he sped through all the swords men, holding his cutlass low, cutting their legs he jumped up as he reached Res at amazing speed. Res was not scared. He put up an arrow as Salden jumped at him, Salden jumped into what many would think his death, hid body left there for the medics to scavenge after the battle, but this was not his end.

With a chill, Salden woke up, Another dream. . . Salden thought, a bit nerved this time, it was very unpleasant. Why the sudden dreams. . . I need to get over the past, it just will make me weak. . . weak with revenge.

"I think I'm done collecting for today, what should we do now Cap'n?"

[Mkishere]

"Eh? Lets go searching." He said, now awake. He stood up and looked around, "Lets head south." He said, beginning to walk.

[Lovelight]

So Lovelight begins to follow Salden.

"I'll scan the island from the skies."Bart said,then hopped on Emralis.

Cristel ran through the trees. It was much harder to navigate through the jungle, it was much more crowded with trees. She had tried jumping on the branches, but it was just more annoying to have to brush off all the leaves all the time.

She had already been searching for around 10 minutes now, and she didn't find anything. Maybe I should've gone straight for the southern beach, she thought, regretting that she had decided to go along the coastline, just hidden in the trees, but the water still in sight. It seemed a smarter choice.

But as she ran, she stopped as she saw a glint of orange among the trees. She stopped only for an instant as she immediately jumped on the branch but the orange was gone. But as she turned around, she saw it again, with a tail dissapearing into the jungle. A cat, dammit, she swore as she saw it slipped past her. The cat wasn't Morgant but it still had something similar to what she remembered as a Ceri military uniform. If what she saw was correct, they were going to have a lot of trouble.

She then hesitated, the ceri might be trouble but Morgant could be a bigger threat, to her anyways. But then, Morgant might not even on this island, she thought. She thought for a few seconds, and she turned back- if that was a ceri soldier, they might send more at them and this danger was more immediate. And she had only 3 other people to depend on for assistance right now.

[Lovelight]

"Well? Any weird sign of the island yet?" Lovelight said

Cristel arrived at the boat but found that none of the three were there. She did see a big flying thing at the sky though, but if someone was flying, it would be neigh impossible to catch them.

She swore under her breath and headed into the jungle, scanning her eyes for any glimpse of the crew.

[Mkishere]

"Hmm?" Salden sensed something in the air, "Do you feel like we're being watched?" He said to lovelight. He put his hand on his cutlass.

[sweet_love]

((You're not. The ceri soldiers are only scouting around the ship and the coastline. You two are inland.))

((THEIR ship by the way.))

[Mkishere]

"No wait. . . I think. . . someone else is on the island."

[Lovelight]

"..Now I do. " Lovelight tugged on her Bunni Dolls leg to turn into a crystal scythe.

[Mkishere]

((Lets not have a crystal scythe, a bit strong eh?))

[sweet_love]

((Nah, crystal isn't that powerful. Now if it was a DIAMOND sycthe, I'd be worried. Diamond is neigh impossible to break.))

[Lovelight]

((...Don't tell me your expecting a crystal stick. XD ))

Lovelight tugged of her bunni dolls other bunni dolls leg, turning it into a crystal cutlass sorta related to Salden's sword. "That fair? "

Salden laughed at the cutlass, "Just because you have a weapon doesn't mean you know how to master it. . ." He said, as if this girl was making fun of his swordsmanship.

Bart was scanning the island when he noticed what looked like a Ceri ship in another bay.He heard some rustling down below,and thought it was the captain,so he landed and said"There's a Ceri ship here."

[Lovelight]

"Oh yeah? " Lovelight skillfully cut down the tree with her crystal cutlass. "It took me 5 years to master every weapon of this doll."

[Lovelight]

"Ceri ship? I should change my doll into a gun just in case they have guns."

[Mkishere]

((That's a bit god modding, five years? That would make her really old, you gotta choose one profession, healing, offensive magic, you can't be the master of everything.))

Cristel kept running, but she found noone. This was bad. The island was quite large, and if they were keep moving, it would take hours to find them. Even with her running full speed.

Damn the sweat, she muttered as she cooled her body down again as she ran. Too much heat could cause her to faint, and fainting on an island that was probably filled with enemy soldiers weren't good.

She ran and it seemed that she had found the southern beach of the island. There, she found numerous shipwrecks, and some flags that she recognized as Ardoun flags. This must be the worst situation ever, she muttered to herself as she quickly looked around. Nothing was of importance except for a strange book she caught at the corner of her eye. She quickly looked at it and found Morgant's handwriting on it. This was bad.

She immediately ran back to the ship, with even greater force than before. Ceri soldiers might be a problem but she did not want to have to deal with Morgant right now, even if he was crewless. He could make things too complicated if he was around. She ran back, trying to find the others to tell them to get off this island.

[Lovelight]

((I didn't say EVERYTHING.))

"Oh wait..or did I miss out 2 weapons..Oh whatever. Get ready Salden, there's Ceri up ahead."

*Cecillia* [Ceri]

"Captain. then what are we supposed to do? A galley has docked already, they might be Ardoun soldiers that noticed us." The man said.

Cecillia contemplated for a moment. The king's orders were to "scout the area and report the status of colonization by Ardoun soldiers. Gain as much knowledge as possible, but keep yourself discreet and not revealing yourself should be your highest priority." In this case, interrupting the ship or going near it would be considered an unnessecary risk.

"No, we're not. The ship is a galley. It might have a lot of soldiers, we only have 12 people manning this ship. We'd be outnumbered."

But before she could continue, another one ran onto the ship.

"Skipper! One of them noticed me! A blue bunny! He looked at me and went to my position, which means he knows that I was there. He didn't trail me but..," he paused as he tried to breathe, "he could discover us. That would b-"

"Shut up, Jeras," Cecillia barked, "Now go and get the three other scouts out there and bring them to the sloop immediately. We are to leave this island without none of them discovering us, understand?"

But she then a large flying.. object. It was too far away, but upon sight of the ship, it flew away. A flying scout? This is ridiculous! Cecillia thought. She then barked, "Forget the scouts, put the oars on full speed and get out of this island now! No rest until we're farther than a kilometre from it!"

She had to make it in time, and besides, that rabbit might provide enough information she needed anyway.

((You do realize that you're INLAND- you went south. The ceri ship is on the bay, not on land. You can't see any ceri, unless it's a scout. Just to say.))

[Mkishere]

((Still, being able to master all those weapons and being able to heal, that's basically like being a warrior that can heal himself, in other words never die in battle, unless he fights for a really long time, either master one weapons or use an assortment without mastering them >.>))

Cristel ran from the beach with all her strength. Then she found the two- the captain and the girl. She tried to tell them to get off, but she had no strength left. Running around the island at full strength would've been enough kill any other rabbit. As she approached them, she fell onto one of them- she didn't know, and all she could let out was, "Get.. off.. the island.."

[Lovelight]

((If you say so. I thought about it for awhile too. I purposely lose battles for this sake.
How does...white mage+gunslinger sound to you?))

((Alright, that's fine.))

"Hmm? You sense it too?" Salden said, quirking a brow.

[sweet_love]

((You're saying that to whom?))

((If that's to me, you just saw a person's who's pretty much exhausted to death that just fell on one of you. I'd expect more reaction.))

"Was it really neccesary to whack me over the head this morning?I got a killer headache now."Bart said,rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah, but I think I smell cat litter. "

((Well salden's seen a lot of death and stuff so it's not all that surprising.))
"Hmm. . . do you have one of those energy drinks Kimi?" Salden said, looking around for Kimi.

((But the situation's different. If a person around him suddenly died by an arrow or something, he wouldn't be surprised. If while going, he saw a random corpse, he probably wouldn't be surprised. But if a person just comes out of the trees exhausted to death, he'd be surprised, or at least a lot more concerned. But this is my opinion anyways, so it doesn't really matter.))

[Lovelight]

"Lemme check....Crazy potion..Weird potion...hmm...Oh!Here it is. Energy drink is here."

[Mkishere]

"Give it to her." Salden said, holding her up.

[Lovelight]

"To Kimi?Didn't you remember that we left her at the ship?"

[Mkishere]

"Ah, wait you have some herbalist potions with you?"

[Lovelight]

"Hmm...why?"

[sweet_love]

((I don't get this. You asked Kimi for an energy drink, Kimi finds it, but suddenly Kimi isn't there?))

[Mkishere]

"Well this girl needs it." He said, holding her up.

[Lovelight]

"...Ok I have some herb potions here. " Lovelight said pulling a bubbly, purple potion.

[Mkishere]

"I need the energy one, specifically."

[Lovelight]

"Oh. " She put the potion back into her bag, and took out a fast-bubbling blue potion. "This is it."

[Mkishere]

"Give it to her, " He said, holding her up closer to lovelight.

[sweet_love]

((Doing some math so reponse time may be slow))

So they continued walking, "Shh..I hear meowing."

[Lovelight]

Suddenly, Salden and Lovelight heard a yell "WAITT UPPP!!!! How could you leave me there?! I had to wait 10 minutes. " Kimi said.

"Oh just in time,"
she shoves the potion into Kimis mouth and Kimi goes crazy and runs down south.
"...What plan do you have now Salden?"

[Mkishere]

((You wouldn't hear meowing, the Ceri went away, >.< Sometimes it feels like you don't read all the posts.))

[Lovelight]

((I get bored easily and start fast reading. D: I gotta read fast just in case my dad comes here.))

Salden walks on, "Hmm. . ." He says, "There might not be any inhabitants here. . ."

((Due to me not studying, he took it away. ))

"Probably not. Think we should go now?"

"Hmm. . . maybe." ((Sweet love needs to respond xD))

The trip to the new land was a long one, multiple attacks from Gengi's, a few storms, and being knocked off course made the 1 week trip into 2. Food and supplies were low and mutiny was common talk on The Venture but Lieutenant Ray knew better once they saw land in the distance.
"First mate, prepare the crew for landing we should reach land by the morning" Ray said heading back to his quarters.
He heard a "yes sir!" before the his door closed. He decided to pass the time by looking through a small leather bound notebook, before heading to sleep.

Bart was huddled in a corner.He had something lodged in his stomach,but he couldn't get it out.He looked around,it the room seemed like his house,but when he stood up,he was alot shorter.


((Dream phase.))

Ray had woken up just as The Venture dropped anchor. He gathered his belongings and got onto the dingy heading to shore, along with 5 other soldiers. Once they reached shore, he gave orders. "Three of you gather some food you can find nearby. Two of you look around for a good spot to make a fort. All of you be on the lookout for other Cerians, i have information, that there might be some on this island." Ray went to look around to see if he could find anything of value, the sun was barely starting to rise. He realized a few minutes had passed without his noticing when his men came back with bags of fruit. They loaded the fruit onto the dingy and went back to get some more. By the time they returned the scout's did also. "Sir, we have found a spot farther down the beach. We can come back tomorrow when the sun is up."
"Yes for now load the rest of the food and get on the boat." After everything was loaded, it was a few minutes before they got back onto The Venture. Once they did the entire crew was delighted to have food, and after everyone had their fill they went to sleep. Ray had entered his quarters and went back to bed without reading the notebook.

"Ugh," Cristel grunted as she slowly cooled down, "Look Salden. There's ceri soldiers here, don't know how many but with four people, we're likely to get slaughtered."

Then Cristel hesitated as she thought if she should tell Salden about the southern beach. Traces of Morgant was there but it couldn't be noticed.. Besides, there's a good chance that the Ceri soldiers got him anyways, she thought as she proceeded.

"Not only that, at the southern beach, there's a whole massive shipwreck; a huge battle that involved at least more than 10 galleys minimum. This island is dangerous, and we do not want to get involved in whatever's going on."

She then said those words and immeidately began to regret them. Salden was an Ardoun officer, whether he was him or not, and he might want to stay and investigate it. It didn't seem very likely to find traces of Morgant on the beach, but she could take no chances. She didn't care about the Ceri, really, because there would be at most a hundred of them- which wouldn't prove much of a problem.

"Look, I'm not to run in the face of the Ceri, we'll investigate this some more." Salden said, looking around he noted his surroundings, if Ceri were here he may have to fight.

"Cer---" Just then, Kimi ran in and said "OH HI GUYSSS!!!! Look guys! I got some friends!"
She said, pointing to us.
"Aw crap.." Lovelight said hitting her head.

You could take a long piece of cloth- a curtain you may say, then tie it into a sturdy piece of object in the room. Then you can use the cloth to go down. If the cloth doesn't reach the bottom, you'll probably be close enough that you can jump off anyways.

Salden pulls out his sword, one of his first real battles on the islands, "Death. . ." He says, looking one Ceri straight in the eye, in a flash he's up in the air, his cutlass down on a Ceri, about to slice him in the skull, though he could pull back in an instant and merely tackle this cat.

Lovelight morphs her doll into Saldens cutlass. "I think I should use this just to go easy. "
So she joins the fight too, about to slice a Ceri Soldier.

"Who are you! " One of the ceri soldiers said, "and what kingdom are you from!"

Salden answered with a cutlass to the skull, he already knew the answer would cause fighting, he couldn't take any chances.

But just then, soldiers came in, pointing guns at poor Salden.

" Sir, there seems to be a fight going on at the coast." yelled a man from the crow's nest. "Can you identify any of the soldiers?" Ray asked. "Yes sir there are 3 unknown people and a group of Cerian Soldiers."
'Hmm, so they must be they squad already sent here' Ray wondered. "Men board the boats, while are going to land to provide support, be ready for a fight if necessary!" There was some cheering as 4 small boats were set in the water filled with 6 soldiers each. They would be there within minutes.

Salden grunted, guns, he hated guns. Raising a brow at the soldiers. He sliced the Wooden handles of the guns (Not the metal barrels), while spinning in a circle, disarming the soldiers, he sheathed his cutlass and put his hands up, "Now it seems fair." He said with a grin.

((Okay. This is messed up, as there are only 3 scouts left on Jersun. Because of this, I'm assuming that all this is Ray's squad that he sent as scouts orsomething. Or either the "friends" that Kimi initially brought are the scouts and the rest are Ray's.))

((You hit the wooden handles.. that's.. is that possible? For the handle, it's wooden- yeah, but it's short and the people have HANDS on them. Just cutting the bottom part off wouldn't do much. If you meant the longer part, most muskets have wood at only at the bottom and metal at the top, which doesn't make sense. Assuming it's a musket of course.. Though I'm not sure how they would have semi-automatics with them..))

Cristel sighed. Well, at least the people didn't notice her swear that loudly, but the Ceri soldiers came and they would be trouble. Now if they were simply swordsman, then it was no problem for the Iceflower, but guns? She knew guns and she could evade them but even she was doubtful how long she could last under gunfire when she was fighting with her blade. Still, she wasn't alone and there were only a few of them for now. Better slaughter them before more come out from the boats.

Cristel ran at the soldiers, who flinched at Salden cutting off their weapons. She quickly glanced at him and nodded, and before they could reply to Salden, she had beheaded them. The whole process hadn't taken more than 10 seconds. Although it wasn't really nessecary, it was better than to just stand there, and prisoners and questions could come later.

(( I don't know about the other soldiers because all of mine are on the boats, i thought they were the ones that kidnapped Morgant. ))

Ray had arrived in time to see the other Cerians get beheaded. "Surround them!" Was all he had to say as his men pulled out there guns and circled the group with about 10 feet out from the people inside the circle. "I suggest you surrender before you end up like the people you killed." Ray said,unsheathing his sword and already having his shield strapped to his arm, while he gestured to the now headless cats on the beach.
"If you surrender peacefully no harm will be done and you will be released pending your crimes."

((The handles are long, two handed guns, he cut on the weak wooden part, these are some pretty cheap guns, If anyone's played Final Fantasy 12, it's like Balthier's Gun.))

"Lets get moving." Salden said, seeing another ship in the corner of the eye, he moved towards the opposite side of the island, he noted that his crew member had already moved Salden's ship into hiding.

Cristel looked at the soldiers. They were all holding guns, and her position was right near the forest though close to the beach. In this case, Cristel could fight and survive. All of them had guns, so all she needed was to be careful of that, and they usually had a long reload time. With only 24 of them, this wouldn't be so hard.

But she glanced at Salden and sighed. Once again, she needed him and the ship, and there still was the chance of getting hit by the guns. A small chance, but it still existed. Besides, if she fought alone, she'd be revealing that she had much more skill than they think, which would surely raise their suspiscions.

I really hate having to keep myself secret, Cristel mumbled to herself as she ran along with Salden from the soldiers. But she realized that this could be more dangerous. They had guns, and showing their back to them would be pretty much suicide. She contemplated for a second before she reluctantly decided to use some magic for her favour. It wouldn't be that big, and nobody would know it was her.

She started concentrating and started to vaporize the water nearby, especially ones from the ocean. She also took moisture from the air and pulled them up too, and within an instant, massive clouds appeared in the sky.

Oh god, I made it far too quickly, she realized and reprimanded herself but it would serve its purpose. As they ran, heavy rain started to fall right on their heads. The rain would dampen the powders and make the guns useless. Now, if they chased them with swords, they'd be easily defeated and if they didn't, it'd be all the better for her.

Bart woke up,feeling groggy.He didn't know where he was,but he was being dragged somewhere.

"Let them go men, We'll take the venture around the coast, and patrol. Have the cannons ready and i'll met you over there." As his men went back to the boats, Ray went to the three corpses. He checked the corpses and there belongings. "Damn all private's couldn't have been a month out of the training." It had started to rain when Ray got a piece of driftwood and dug a hole big enough to fit the bodies. He piled the bodies in and filled the hole back up. "It isn't proper but it will have to do for now." It was raining heavily now and Jack couldn't even see the boats. "I will get that girl for what she did, i swear it."

Salden cursed, "To the right!" He yelled, sharply turning, if they followed them, going in a straight path would be the dumbest thing to do.

"...Is running away in battle common in Ceri? " Lovelight said

Cristel was running but she felt like dying at the moment. She had already spent a lot of energy running around the island, and conjuring up a heavy rainfall that big might have been pushing it a little too much, even for her. The only reason she was still running was because of her tremendous willpower.

She stared back at where she was running from, and tried to listen for footsteps coming from that directino, but she saw and heard none. They must have quit because of the rain, she though with a relief. But with that relief all the tension and pressure on her suddenly was released and her fatigue came to her that was beginning flood her completely.

She fought it back with pure will, but falling asleep was very tempting to her and it strained her mental strength to her limits. Still, she shouldn't fall asleep, not yet. But even as she fought, she knew that she wouldn't last long. She should at least tell them what she thinks and let them carry her.

"Salden..," Cristel said in a hoarse whisper, and she staggered, almost falling on him, "The cerians.. they're not chasing us.." She managed to finish that and she fell upon the fox, finally succumbing to the exhaustion.

"Hey, why are you guys running! " Lovelight yelled 2 feet away.
"It's not like the boogyman is behind me! "

Ray had decided enough time had passed. He began his pursuit of the girl and her group. By now they would be slowing down. He knew they wouldn't take a straight path so he was jumping from tree to tree with feline stealth so they wouldn't hear him. Soon he would catch up to them, rain or not.

"Sir, we have rounded the coast, and the cannons are ready. The crow's nest has spotted a ship anchored in the bay!" said a cabin boy yelling above the storm. "Good job, boy now tell them to get within range and fire on my order!" said first mate John.
John knew whatever the lieutenants plan was that he would complete it and return.

(( Ships can fire cannons in a storm, the cannons are below the deck where it's dry, how else would they fight in a storm? And cat's are very stealthy my cat ran through a huge puddle and barley made a sound. I'm not saying there wouldn't be noise, it would just be quiet due to how he would be doing it gracefully and the heavy downpour would drown some of it out. It is completely possible that you or salden could hear him but they would have to be focusing on listening for someone. ))

Salden curses and hauls the girl over his shoulder, "You're a bit heavy." He said, running off, zigzagging he took a sharp turn to the left, then right, then left, then left for a while, then left again, and he went in circles trying to lose his pursuers tracks, by now he was exhausted from running, he stopped and put the girl down against a tree.

Ray had stopped to see if he could here anything. All he could hear was the rain, but then he noticed some footprints in the mud. "Hmm, one good thing about the rain." So Ray began to follow the tracks, making his own, and going slowly to make less noise.

Salden took note of his surroundings, he pulled out his cutlass and jumped in a tree, he picked up Cristel as he did so, "Do the same." He said cautiously to Medica.

((I'm guessing that Salden, as a soldier, has the ability to sense killing intent, which Ray is fuming with right now. Most people who have fought in battles a lot seems to get this sixth sense... Meh.

After a few minutes of following tracks, Ray became aware that he had no idea where the coast was. He climbed up a tree next to him and once he reached the top he was able to see a bay in the distance and 2 ships. He hopped down to the lower branches and continued to follow the tracks from the trees as best he could.

"Sir, we are now i range and facing the other ship" Said the Cabin boy once again yelling. "Good. Tell the men to take down the sails, and prepare for battle. Once those sails are down we fire!" Said John with a devilish grin under his beard.

((By the way, you might want to start the battle quickly, because unless you do so, the moisture in the air might dampen your gunpowder enough that it becomes useless. It's a very heavy downpour, let me remind you.))

Salden quickly took a vine from a tree and attached it to a branch, he looped it around other and, swinging around a branch he sat, waiting, holding the vine, taking a few rocks he threw them down at the bottom, making any running men trip. He nodded at lovelight sitting in a tree near him, "Get ready, he's getting close." He said, looking down at the tracks. He got down and continued the tracks a bit, then quickly jumped back on the tree.

"Got your back." She responded, clinging onto the wet branch.

John was taking it in. The atmosphere before a battle was a feeling John woke up for everyday. With the sail almost down, he walked to the stairs and yelled below decks. "Light those fuses!"

The tracks were getting more and more fresh every time Ray looked. He senses were telling him something and he remembered this feeling from when he was fighting in the war. He stopped and look ahead to see the tracks ended. He decided to do the logical thing and headed farther up the tree he was on. He slowly got his sword and shield out. He knew they were near, he could sense it. He just needed to find out where.

Redia drew a small dagger he had been concealing and got off of the ship. He was happy to be on land, but did not want to get involved in this, (Out of a bad situation and into a horrible one...) he thought and began trying to back his way out of town looking everywhere for anything that might be suspicious.

The moment was right and the cannons went off. John didn't see where they went but he soon saw several explosions on the other boat. A moment later he noticed that the ship was going down slowly. John felt great with the enemy defeated. "Alright men, back to where we left the Lieutenant and make it quick!" John yelled as the ship workers started moving.

In the distance the boat sank and the passengers jumped off into the water. As the ship was almost fully submerged, a black flag with white marks on it could be seen floating on the water.

As Redia passed an empty house he peeked inside to see if anyone was inside, (No one..) he jumped in and rolled across the floor as quietly as possible, but of course he made a VERY loud noise, but no one came out so he headed to a small room and looked out the window to see and hear cannon fire.

Redia let out a sigh of relief and slide slowly to the floor, and as he did he noticed a small bunni girl peaking in at him from the room across...

"Wh...Wh...Who are y-y-you?" She said shaking.

"Oh I'm sorry, do your parents live here?" He said looking a sympathetically as possible.

"I-I don't have any parents..." She said covering her eyes shyly.

"I'm sorry..." Redia said looking at the floor feeling sad, "could I stay here for a while? I don't wanna get hurt by the people outside."

"O-Ok, but only for a l-l-little while." She said now smirking shyly at me.

"Thank you very much." I said smiling as happily as I could.

Salden sighed, waiting for his attacker.

Ray heard a noise to his left, so he turned ready to strike. But he hit the tree with his shield making it shake.

The little girl turned and went back into her room to get something, and walked out with a small doll.

"H-here I w-want you to have t-t-this..." She said and handed me the doll, "You a-are a v-v-very nice man thank you for not h-hitting me."

"Thank you, but why would I hit you?" Redia said confused.

"T-the other m-men that came in h-h-here always hit me and told m-m-me to l-leave, b-b-but I always came back." *snicker* She smiled at me, and looked out the window at the cannons.

(Thats horrible...) He thought and looked towards the doll, then staring back out the window.

Salden pulled the vine, making many branches and vines fall on the cat, he dropped down and pointed the cutlass at the Cat, either on his knees or knocked out from a branch, "Who are ye?" Salden said, he had no Arduon armor on.

On his knees, Ray brought around his shield and knocked the cutlass away. He tried to swing his sword but his wrist was caught in between fallen branches. This also stopped him from moving. "Why don't you say first!"

"Reasons make me wary of saying my names, Salden said, pointing his cutlass at the man again, this time out of reach of the shield.

Redia turned to the girl now serious, "Listen, would you come with me this place is too dangerous, you shouldn't stay here..."

"B-b-but I t-t-thought you were gonna let m-m-me stay?" The girl looked at Redia her eyes tearing.

"I was, but you could get hurt, you have to be strong and leave its for you own safety, and you can stay with me." He said immediately regretting the last thing he said.

"Really!" The little girl said quietly and exitedly, "I-I've never l-l-left before..."

"Yes, I mean it." Redia said now feeling better then he did just seconds ago.

Still gripping the shield unless the fox tried to strike him. "Well, judging by the fact your willing to strike down a unarmed and trapped opponent, I'd have to guess your from Aroudon. And if your here then you must be pretty high up the military food chain."

Salden quirked a brow, "You're not unarmed, I'm asking you for information, now tell me, why are the Cerians here?!" Salden said, still pointing the cutlass at him.

The little girl went and got a small chest and began putting dolls in it, it wasn't that large she put three dolls in it and took it to where I was standing.

"C-c-can we leave n-now?" She asked pushing her lip out.

"No not yet there is still firing going on outside lets just stay here for tonight..." Redia said smiling at the way the little girl asked.

"Awww..." The little girl said and sat on the floor.

(Hmm...I can't believe this girl is trusting me, she is lucky I'm not one of those pirates...) He thought and looked out towards the ships.

"Goodnight." Redia said to the little girl, took his coat off, and tucked her into it, she feel asleep almost instantly, without a fuss like he would have suspected. He sensed she was nothing like a normal girl, but shrugged it off and clutched the a dagger for defense in his hand in case anyone tried to attack them. Of course after a while he got tired, and could barely stay awake...

Redia woke the little girl up and put his coat back on. She yawned then got up and sat with her legs criss-crossed.

"A-are we l-leaving today?" She asked sleepy-eyed.

"Yes, we are do you have all your things together?" Redia asked then picked up his small dagger.

"Allright!! O-oh yeah h-h-here they a-are..." The little girl said embarrassed she had got so exited and handed me her little chest.

"I never got your name, what is it?" Redia asked as he picked her up and stuck her on his back.

"I-its Kia..." She said and looked up to me, "Whats yours?"

"My name is Redia." He said, tied the small chest to his belt, broke down the back door with the girl on his back, and began running.

As Redia was running with Kia on his back he entered a forest, but didn't stop until he knew he was a good distance away from where the ships were fighting.

"This should be a good spot to rest..." Redia said and sat down while he was panting.

"C-cool, these trees a-are h-h-hard!" Kia said banging on one of the trees.

Redia couldn't help but smile at her curiosity. He sat and watched her look under rocks and mess with the small creatures in the forest, of course though, he didn't let her wander far from his sight. He felt very responsible looking after Kia and decided he would defend her at any cost...

Salden sighed, looking at the man, "Hmm, get down from the trees now. . ." looking at the man again he cut the vines, "Happy?" Salden said, still alert and ready for any attack.

Ray got up and had his sword ready now, just in case. "Delighted. Now, i gave you my name what about yours?"

((O.o. But these energy potions might be a little god-modding.. Meh. So what are the effects of the energy potion, exactly, is it a substance that induces something like a sugar-rush, or is it more of the caffeine?))

Finally, Redia began working on a small shelter for him and Kia to sleep in for the night. As he collected branches of all kinds, Kia ran circles around him. Redia started enjoying carrying the branches just to see her get dizzy and start laughing. She had actually made me feel good, compared to the last few days.

"Okay, okay, lets calm down now Kia." Redia said now to tired to carry or build anymore, he looked over to his house to see a decent hut. (Wow, how long have I been doing this?!")

"Cool, so t-this was w-w-what you were m-making?!" Kia said running in and then jumping out from the small hole I built into the side as a window.

"It's Vaine, now. . . " Salden said, taking his cutlass, "It's obvious we're enemies. . . so me and my friends will end you here." Though it's a bit dishonorable to team up on a man, it's necessary in this case. . . besides, Salden thought, he's a Ceri. . .

Salden sighed, "As dishonorable as this is, I've no time for one on one combat, if you're trying to delay me it wont work. . ." His tone of voice changed, "Because it's time. . . for death." Salden said, looking all serious, a first for some to see in his crew. Breathing out, he jumped back, He yelled out, jumping up into what seemed an attack from above on the cat.

Ray dashed forward and brought up his shield to avoid the jump attack. He knew that this was an experienced fighter and he would have to be careful and try to find an exit before he was worn down too much.

Bart got up.He looked around and began stumbling forth in a random direction.

As Kia settled down in the hut Redia began taking the excess wood he had collected and sanding them into small planks with a rock he had found. He knew of only one island out of them all where Kia could live without too much danger of being attacked...

"Goodnight Kia." Redia said and stuck a bundle of hay under Kia's head as he covered her with his coat.

"G-goodnight Redia." Kia said and looked at him before she fell asleep.

Redia left her in the hut and stuck his makeshift doors over the openings in it. After which he went back to work on his boat to get off of the island...

Redia had about eleven planks before he quit for the night and began writing up schematics for the boat. (Hmm...I need something for the sails, and some nail like things to put the hull together.) "I've got a lot of work to do..." He sighed.

Salden smirked, he had fallen for it, landing behind the man, Salden took his cutlass and made a strike at his back.

Ray noticed him the fox coming down and twisted to block with his shield. Just in time to avoid being sliced in half. This is when he made a strike with his sword.
