Here's a poetry thread.

Well, shinju's one somehow vanished, and we can never really get those poems back.. unless of course, we get some kind of supreme hacker and make one, then that'd be epic.

but anyway, since we can't, and we're also too poor, here's a new thread :3

feel free to post your own poems and songs. you may also post song lyrics, but please credit ze arteests x].

Here's a poem to start things off.


You've claimed the clouds, you've claimed the sky.
You've even made your friends turn a few lies.
You've made a fool out of every one you knew
Yet now the blame has been placed on me.

You've torn my heart, torn it to two
And yet you couldn't care less.
I stood there, till the bitter end.
But you never did confess.

And so, as a result to your selfishness.
I pay the price, I pay the fine.
Dearest, sir. I hope you die.
You were nothing like a friend.

So let's make this clear, please understand
That I am unable to recover from that fall.
I can move on, yes, and never look back.
But nothing changes at all.

So, to those out there that are reading
I wonder what it is you're feeling.
And if you, you stupid reason of a person
is reading this too.

I have done nothing, but be a good friend to you.

Empty promises... you never fulfilled them in the first place.
I couldn't even fix you

Have you ever been down to the windy beach
Where many a shipwreck lie?
Have you ever felt the swift, sharp wind

Have you tasted the salty water roaring at the bay?
Have you ever watched the sky, permenantly grey?

Screaming out for mercy underneath the waves?
But today the beach is different
There's laughter in the air
Children run along the beach
Without giving a care.

Dedicated to Philip, who loved the beach and spent his final years there.

As you left, as I stood.
You just laughed, while I was bruised.
You made me think I was special
You made me think I was something.
I didn't know that you were only a 'commercial'
Quickly, my something drifted to nothing.

Now as I look back and remember those times
I can only remember those times I cried.
The happiest of memories,now, feel like lies.
And one question is left echoing in my mind.

But for who i am, and always will be.
I will never learn, neither will i see.
That your trivialities aren't worth while.
that i should have never wasted my smile.

Though you won't read this, and i know this is true.
You're just a stupid idiot that has personal issues.
i realised you weren't worth it, and looked for answers.
But like a choreographed stage, you set things up for the dancers.

You played me in more ways than one.
but this war between us, has only just begun.

It's crowded in worship today
As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girls teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know..

He wrote this poem to his mother telling her that she sucks at making decisions for him.
