Since there's no New User section I didn't know where else to put this.
So yeah, just like the title says, I'm new to forums. Just thought I'd say that Bunni is coming along nicely. Hope it goes well in the next installment.

My avi is animated?
BTW I need some help with making my sig work. Apparently it says that I have one but I don't see it!

EDIT: Actually don't worry I found out. D= Isn't there any support for transparency?

Hello newcomer, I think a update is coming very soon about three days away, if your bored you can play in the RP section. Also, the mods are Rosedragon, Choldkakak (I can never remember the name), and some others. Andre is the person who made Bunni, and created this website. (Though the forum was made by vbulletin and the chat is made by Xat.)

The easiest way to make it transparent while making it looks nice would be to just make the white the post-background color in here. :)

Welcome to Bunni world, where pretty much nothing is reality, really, but just a figment of imagination from some old man who apparently knows programing.

It's not. You can see the air hole in the mouth. There are also no eyeballs.

Well it's nice that the welcomes here are nice and simple. The other forum I got to has really odd welcomes (now, didn't previously). Well thanks for welcoming me. ^^

Yes, you avatar cookie is animated and blinks every so often.

Transparency is actually supported by your image that you are working with. If you want transparency you NEED to save it as a .GIF or a .PNG!

.JPG does NOT work with transparency. You can't do it.

In your image editing program, and you have transparency selected and in the image, do a "Save As" and make sure you choose .PNG! There are two types of .PNG. There is a "super" PNG and an 8 bit .PNG. The 8 bit PNG is super compressed and is very good for images with little shading and few colors. This leads to INCREDIBLE compression. The 8 bit .PNG is almost exactly like a .GIF. They can be used interchangeably.

A SUPER .PNG, that is a 24 bit color file, can have not only many colors, but also supports ANTI-ALIASING, which means no jaggy edges around your image transparency. You might get a large image size but you have color depth and transparency in a lossless format that you can not get with a .JPG.

This website has some explaining in depth about the .PNG format and has some nice examples of transparency.

Notice on that site, the four image mock-up? Look mainly at number 1 and 2. You want to use number 1. You see number 3? That's kind of what you are using right now.

The easiest way to make it transparent while making it looks nice would be to just make the white the post-background color in here. :)
That would work as well. :P
