how long ago did you have it? it could be something else ya know :P Unless it was within a few hours of eating it chances are it was something else. Personally I only eat like one burger from maccas - Crispy chicken bacon deluxe, minus the sauce, tomato and lettuce (so only chicken bacon and cheese on the actual burger) lol. I'm pretty fussy. Also like their chips and sundaes :P

Aussie maccas is different to Japanese maccas though (and was in fact so much greater than japanese maccas), so I imagine every country's maccas is different.

You aren't the only one that's puked after eating McDonalds. Trust me on this one. It's just poorly made food. If you are used to it, it won't make you sick but for the 90% of people who don't eat it once a month, you will get sick off of it.

Wow, American maccas must SUCK so much lol (or wherever you guys are from, by the times you are online I am estimating at about American time zone). Aus maccas is really good, but that's probably because we use aussie beef and aussie chicken not.... whatever american maccas use XD In australia we have this healthy choices menu where maccas has *tried* to provide healthy alternatives like salads and chicken burgers made from REAL CHICKEN. Also the cheese is REAL CHEESE and is YELLOW, NOT ORANGE and it TASTES LIKE CHEESE!!! Not that chicken patty crap they used to do. and not that orange cheese that looks like... well deep fried cheese. It's not the healthiest or best meal ever, but it isn't terrible food. I mean I am like the fussiest eater ever, I will only eat chicken that is real, I don't eat chicken patties. If it isn't white meat I won't eat it. I'd say the maccas over here is getting much better when it comes to how food tastes. I'm allergic to preservatives like GSM (not severely allergic) but if I eat too much of it I get like pins and needles in my mouth and tongue and it's quite annoying. Eating a chicken bacon deluxe with those wheat burgers that don't have perservatives in them doesn't affect me. Oh and they use real rasher bacon as well, you can really tell the difference in quality from the bacon they used to use.
Hungry jacks on the other hand (american equivalent to 'Burger King'):rolleyes: terrible food. I got food poisoning when i was younger and refused to eat from there. It was only when I worked at HJ's that I actually tried a buger from there. It was gross but I got my breakfast/lunch/dinner from there (depending the shifts I worked, I usually did close so I never got to have dinner with my family, had to buy it myself, so free food is better than anything in that case!!)
The sad thing is I went to a restaurant in the city that was s'posed to be really good and it was incredibly oh so bad food and I actually said to my friend, I would have rather had maccas than this [insert profanity here] at least it would not have cost me an arm and a leg. Dunno about where you guys are from but maccas is the cheapest fast food by far around here.

And yea Wendy's is great XD but over here it is not as popular, I don't see Wendy's around so much as it should be...

I agree with scewball the american food sounds alot worse.

Where i liive we have the worlds best chiness though its only a tiny place but the food is that of the gods.Not to mention that the staff are friendly and sometimes give use free popadoms or prawn crackers as we are regulars

I don't like chinese x.x In fact I don't like many forms of exotic food at all. As I said I am really fussy about what I eat. Best bet is plain food. Hate all sauces except cheese ones. Won't eat most vegetables and most fruit. I pretty much dissect my red meat by cutting off every last piece of fat and gristle off it XD It's easier to say all the foods I like, than the foods I don't like XD because I really... don't eat that many kinds of food o.o

Hmm im the same im a vegitarian who dosnt eat fish i practicly live off pasta rice and potato. I do like quorn though as well as sweet peppers tomatoe and a litle mushrooom so i do eat stir fry

omg sif not eat fish x.x I absolutely LOVE FISH in all aspects of my life. I love fishing, I love fish as pets and I love to EAT fish XD I even eat raw fish in sushi. As for me I practically live off pasta as well, with parmesan cheese I think I have this 2 - 3 nights a week for dinner XD I usually have a cheese sauce with it or some sauce with mushrooms and bacon that my housemate cooks.
I also eat a lot of chicken and red meat, (which probably sounds horrible to a vegetarian but vegetarian diets make me want to puke as well :P) I also eat A LOT of dairy. Fussy with my cheeses though, and only drink cow's whole milk (other milk tastes like crap including skim milk)

My point was, the chain foods across the country are all kind of sub-par. That's because they must deliver the same quality and taste all across the United States! So because of this, the overall quality of the food suffers. That's why I'm all for the independent chains and stuff.
