I don't like it. I was expecting a fantasy story with love/teen spice. But what I get is teen/love story with vampire spice. Too much it just describe teen life instead the fantasy part.

To me, it's an older ladies try to make her fantasies come true. Which is fine, if it is made good. That is not the case, however. The books are quite poorly written, and when I read them I wondered whether the proofreaders died or just gave up...

the movie was abit poor tho, acting was poor and they left loads of the story out.

in the twilight movie they left important parts of the story out that ties it in with the next one. I don't know how they are going to piece it together.
I do recommened reading the books, but movie is a let down.

I can't stand it, maybe if I wasn't a D&D and other fantasy game "person" then it would be more bearable, but vampires don't sparkle.

No offense but twilight is terrible D= The plot is horrible, the characters are crap, the dialogue made me want to kill myself. I'm glad I borrowed the book from the library and didn't waste my money on it.
I went and saw the movie with my friends and honestly it was soooooo baaaaad. The three of us managed to sit through it but not before making fun of every single thing we could possibly make fun of. We were laughing inappropriately throughout the whole movie in an almost empty cinema. The only reason we were laughing is because if we didn't we probably would have all started crying... in pain...
But I suppose if youre a 10 - 14 yr old chick this book is probably ideal. I don't know what other audience it would appeal to because anyone with half a sense of decent literature would have quit before halfway through the book, like i almost did, but I kidded myself into thinking it would get better. It didn't...
Now if you want an actual good fantasy writer Sara Douglass is your girl.

It was okay. It could have been better and have more Vamp Violence but that's my opinion. I didn't like the movie though it was very bad. I also don't understand why girls get so worked up about Edward?

Neither do I, the actor they chose for the movie is soooo ugly D= and his character sucks !! the chick is even uglier though x.x The only guy I liked was the Indian guy, was it Jacob? In any case we didn't see enough of him in the first one, he was awesome and his actor was hot in the movie :cool:

Easy, he is cool and cold, typical guy that looks reliable to save you at terrible times but not going to disturb your peace by talking / giving excessive advices.

another problem with twilight is it made people forget where vampires came from... Vlad the Impaler... he did terrible things he would put his victims on spikes and left them there to slowly die and he would cut of womens private parts and boil them... when did vampires suddenly become good guys? also the new tv show vampire diaries is a total rip off of the twilight series
