Pirates!

I think this has to do with the new update, but recently I got a pirate as a worker. Is this average?

I, too, have seen them, although I have never had any myself. I do know that they existed before today's update, which was strictly bug-fixes, as far as I know.

In the distant future, you'll be able to hire pirate workers at the pirate house. Currently they are only available if you are very lucky shaking trees. People have created 275,000 bunnies, but have only found 15,000 Pirates. So pirates are rare!

I'm waiting for the day when people have hired a cumulative 1 million bunnies. How cool will that be?

I just got one, too! Funny, I had a full game with a full island of stuff, but some bug prevented me from going further (even had 75,000+ Gold :P). So, I started a new game, and within the first 10 minutes, I got a pirate from an apple tree. Yay!

About the Angels, yes, it would appear so. The 'angel' or whatever the dark guys are that speaks about Granpa Angel seems to be referring to something in that matter.

I had 3 pirates, 4 pandas, and 2 monsters (before the pirate mission). Plus a plum orchard with all the islands but Pirate Cove and Wedding Isle, but i had to leave my computer to let our puppy out. When i got back my cat was laying on my open laptop and she had closed the web page, i was going to save and i lost everything!:(

I have been playing my first account and i just got a pirate and have 2 pandas.

I personally dont like monsters because they work waay tof ast and i like to have alot of workers to make my island look busy so i only have bunnies... Yes boy worker pirates are rare. I have one and i wonder if i can get more than one though...

I'm getting pirate drops a lot. Its probably from having est. 139fruit bearing trees in my forest. I'm thinking about using them as the only workforce.

I have 5 pirates now but only the one panda from peach T_T which is rarer or do you get more pandas some other way

I do believe that pirates are rarer than pandas, but seeing as that is based on luck when shaking the trees, anything can happen.

first i got 3 pandas from the fruit trees (and 2-3 more a long time ago, but forgot to save...)

and today and yesterday i have gotten 3 pirates (one 10 minutes ago, and i started creating a pirate area in my islands. but i accidently sold one, and i hadnt saved after i got it from the fruit tree... so i got 2 pirates and 4 pandas.

The "Better" your trees are, the more of a chance you will get something good. I believe.

It goes in this order.
Apple -> Pear -> Plumb
Obviously it is hard to get plumb trees. But once you get 5 plumb trees (500 gems.) you don't need to buy any more. You see, whatever type of trees you have, they will drop "seeds" of their own kind. Plumb trees do this... what? 10, 15% of the time? It's still quite high for a random drop and you get a lot of them. Just keep planting the plumb trees and bombing, removing and selling your old trees. After a while the gems will start pouring in and you will get better items.

I DO recommend keeping at least 1 of both Apple and Pear trees. If you delete all of these then you will inevitably want them back. For example I wanted Apple trees after I got rid of mine for decorations. Same with the pear trees. What you will have to do is keep shaking the trees up and eventually you will get another form of tree. This is VERY rare though and you will have to shake a LOT of trees to get this to occur. Some people might have noticed this before, in that a pear tree might drop a plumb seed. That sort of thing.

I don't know how the different trees affect the dropping of animals though. But it would be a good chance that the "better" your tree is, the "better" your treasure chests and drops will be. In my experience it's been that plumb drops animals more.
